Built for every floating shelf project.
One bracket system that adapts to the wall, the shelf, and the load in front of you. It's a match if you:
- Want shelves that hold real weight without sagging
- Build or renovate and need faster, cleaner installs
- Mount to drywall, brick, plaster, or concrete
- Want one stock length you cut to any project
- Are done with callbacks from cheap 2-prong brackets
Engineered strength
Tested to hold 300 lbs at an 8-inch depth.*
The industry-standard 2-prong bracket relies on loose rods and a weak connection, and tops out around 20–50 lbs. Hovr's male and female extrusions interlock and are pinned by a set screw – roughly 13× the holding power, tested across substrates and depths. No shift, no sag, no callbacks.

Cut to lengthOne stock, every length
Uniform aluminum you cut to size – run near 1:1 to the shelf for max strength or 2:3 to trim cost on lighter installs.
6063 T6 aluminumAircraft-grade extrusion
The same alloy family used in structural aerospace parts – light, rigid, corrosion-resistant.
Any substrateMounts to nearly anything
Anchor to the studs through any wall surface and fit into any shelf with solid backing – just match the hardware to the needs of your install.
Two profilesClassic & Slim
Classic for heavy loads, Slim for thinner shelves – one system that fits any build.
The set screwLocked, not balanced
A stainless set screw fastens the two brackets together – adding rigidity and keeping the shelf put, even from an accidental bump.
How it works
Buy brackets
Step 1: Rout the channel
Rout the bracket channel into the back of your shelf – it sits hidden and is anchored into the wood with high-quality screws.
Step 2: Mount to the wall
Firmly anchor the matching bracket into the studs on the wall – level, flush, and solid.
Step 3: Connect & lock
Angle the shelf down into place to connect it with the wall bracket, then tighten the set screws to lock the two together securely.
Why builders and woodworkers switched.

One bracket, zero compromises.
Cut to any length, rated to hold more than the competition, and installed to last. One Hovr system does the work of a drawer full of cheap brackets.
